The Ultimate Reward

Even if I could provide all of the best resources in the world, it still would not be enough. So, I would be remissed if I did not offer a relationship with Jesus.

I have found that I can go to Jesus and my Heavenly Father in prayer for anything – in times of need, in times of trouble, and even thankfulness. I wish I could tell you the countless times that I have cried out to Him to help me in every area of my life and He was there. It’s not about the tangible things, but I have found comfort, love, relief and protection in Him.

I want that for you. Because this world can be cold, mean, discouraging and unforgiving. But having Jesus in your corner will help you survive this world. I have found that when I go to God I am provided peace in the midst of storms and joy in the midst of trials.

The Word says “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). No we are not perfect, and thankfully God does not measure us through our own righteousness.

Romans 6:23 tells us that the wages of sin is death, but the gift from God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. This is because Christ died for us a long time ago. He knew that we were not perfect and our earthly lives would not be perfect for us either.

But, God has provided his son Jesus that we may be made righteous and receive salvation through him.

8For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Ephesians 2: 8-9

Not only that, but belief in Jesus Christ guarantees you an eternal place in Heaven. We all know that one day that we will have to leave here.

Consider John 3:16,

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Jesus can sustain you in this earthly life and provide you with eternal life. But, you must choose Him first (John 14:6).

Have you accepted Jesus into your life?

Romans 10:9 tells us “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, you can pray this prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I deserve to pay the penalty for my own sins. But I don’t want to go to Hell when I die; I want to be with You in Heaven. I believe You died on the Cross and rose again for me. Please forgive my sins and come into my heart. I accept Your gift of salvation. I believe in You and trust You alone as my Saviour to help me on Earth and one day take me to Heaven. Thank you, God for your love. Amen”

And, I want to share this with you:

The Bible plainly teaches that you can never lose your salvation. You will always be saved! Ephesians 1:13 describes it as being “sealed.” If you just accepted Christ in your heart, your name was written down in Heaven’s “Book of Life”, and nothing can or ever will erase it!
